WITH A LOVE FOR ALL THINGS FILM,

I had my first encounter with the industry in 1998.  Sneaking on to the set of a local movie called “Finding Jack Kerouac”, I immediately fell in love with the camera and began this incredible journey of story telling.  Years later, after college, I had the opportunity to begin shooting whatever I could but things would take a turn, when I found myself with smack dab in middle of the live television world. An camera operator took ill on the field and looked at me and said, “Pick up this camera and start operating!” There in that moment, I became a network tv cameraman shooting live sports for the likes of ESPN, NBC, FOX, CBS. Turned out, despite a terrible first attempt, I received more opportunities over the years to excel in the sports TV world, shooting events like the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, National Championships and The Masters. The time I spent filming live sports was thrilling but still, my passion for film stayed with me and I supplemented my TV time, working as a camera operator on commercials, shorts and feature opportunities.

2010 was my first opportunity to helm the role as cinematographer on the film October Baby.  This set in motion a sting of indie films that allowed me to grow as a Cinematographer that love and fervor to learn and develop in my craft still drives me today.  I have had the amazing opportunity to shoot numerous award winning commercials & music videos. As well, in 2018 I had the opportunity of a life time to join my long time collaborator’s and college friends Jon & Andy Erwin on “I Can Only Imagine”.  The movie went on to be a hit, in fact, the highest grossing independent of the year, leading to the next picture released under Lionsgate Films with “I Still Believe”.   I have been blessed to do what I love and to do it with the people that I love.

What does the future hold? Well I can tell you the doors are wide open and it starts here in 2020 with another collaboration with Kingdom Story Company on American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story. It will be the biggest project I have been a part of to this point, both in story but as well the screen, with this project being shot for IMAX.
